The Game AI Game Engine

Post by Rémi Coulom » Thu Jan 14, 2016 12:11 pm

Hi,

Today I discovered that educational site for game AI programming:
http://game-ai.gatech.edu/home
It looks like a nice way to teach game AI programming to students.

Maybe this is a good time to present my own stuff. You could create a good game AI quite easily using my AI library which can be found here: https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=scratch%2Fi ... bkdeai.git

The positive: I'm developing it actively and it will soon get more alphabeta optimizations, threaded search and also PN-search. It's also quite well documented using both doxygen for the code itself and also with a largish introduction text.

The negative (for some?): It builds on the Qt library which some people may not like. But the dependency on Qt is very small, mostly strings, and can be easily switched to e.g. std::string.

Thanks Inge. This is a direct link to the documentation for those who wish to know more:
